InterVideo revenues up 65 percent, sues Dell - Dallas Business Journal:

InterVideo reported Q2 revenueof $27.6 versus $16.7 million last year. It reported a net loss of $4.1 or 30 cents per diluted share, after includingy a one-time charge of $4.8 million for in-procesd research and development. This compared to net income of $1.1 or 7 cents per diluted share, in the seconcd quarter of last year. InterVideo's flagshipp WinDVD software, which lets PCs play made up 45 percent of That compares to last when WinDVD made up 63 percent of InterVideo predicts its revenue for the thirxd quarter of 2005 to be in the rangeof $27 millio n to $29 million, which includes some non-recurring and earnings per share to be in the range of 15 centds to 17 cents.
On a non-GAAP InterVideo estimates earnings per share excludinh amortization of intangible assetsof $611,00o0 to be in the range of 18 cents to 20 InterVideo separately said its patent infringement lawsuit in the Unitedd States District Court for the Northerjn District of California against Dell for infringing its 788 which is a "Method and apparatus for integrating personalo computer and electronic device functions," accordinf to the company. InterVideo had earlier filed and settlede lawsuits for infringing the same patent and also its InstantON technologg against TaiwanesePC maker, in both Texas and in Taiwan.
