The Italian restaurant has been in the Twin Cities for 22 The restaurant is locate in the Butler Square building at100 N. Sixth Street, next to the in downtowj Minneapolis. The restaurant employed about 26 workers, one-quarter of whom have been absorbed byother D'Amico restaurantt businesses. “We are currently actively working on additionap Italian concepts and We hopeto re-hire staff in the coming months.” D’Amiclo & Partners owns and operates 24 restaurantws and catering locations in Minneapolis and Florida, including the Italian-themes Campiello, the modernist chophouse Cafe and Bar Lucat, the casual eateries D’Amicio & Sons and the upscale-Mexican restaurant Masa.
Briann Burg, general manager of Butler Square for Northmarq Real Estate said that Northmarq only learnec ofthe restaurant's closure this He declined to say when D'Amico's leasr for the 8,660-square-foot restaurant expires or if Northmarq plans to put the space up for lease soon. "Wse are working through these matters with Burg said. He addedf that "the closing of a great restauran is asad occasion, but we know that Butler Squarre and the Cucina location are ideallyh located to benefit from the new and dynamicc changes that are occurring in the Warehouse District.
