Rotella and his wife, just sold their Capitol Hill mansiohnfor $4.7 million, according to King County property records, about $1.5 million less than they listee it for after WaMu failed nine months ago. The house is 7,250 square feet with 4.25 bathroomse and six bedrooms. It's located near Volunteer Park in InJanuary 2008, before the housing market'x spectacular crash hit the Seattle the property was valued at about $5.3 million, accordint to property value tracker Zillow.com. That's also abouy the time WaMu's stocok was falling precipitously. Rotella, who moved from the East Coasrt to take the WaMu job in still made money fromthe property, though.
He boughtg the house from KING-TV newscastet Jean Enersen for $3.78 million in June 2005, accordinb to from the Seattle P-I. The lucky buyers of Rotella's house are Samue l and Sylvia Ketcham. I didn'tg immediately recognize the name andGoogle didn't turn up anythingv definitive. UPDATE : An astute reader pointed out that originalluy had the story about A shout out tothat
